Privacy Policy
1. Who we are
"Tripibe", "we", "us" refers to the operators of touristsocial.vercel.app. For privacy questions: hello@tripibe.app.
2. What we collect and why

3. Where we store waitlist data
Waitlist emails are stored in a private Airtable base accessible only to Tripibe operators. Airtable Inc. acts as a data processor on our behalf. See Airtable's privacy policy.
4. Hosting and server logs
The website is hosted on Vercel. Vercel automatically logs basic request metadata (IP address, timestamp, URL) for a limited period for security and performance. See Vercel's privacy policy.
5. Third-party services and cookies
We use the following third parties, which may set cookies or collect data from your browser when you visit:
- Google AdSense — may display personalised or non-personalised ads. AdSense uses cookies to serve ads based on prior visits to this and other sites. You can opt out at Google Ads Settings or via the YourOnlineChoices tool.
- Google Fonts — loads webfonts from Google's CDN. Your IP is sent to Google to deliver the fonts.
- OpenStreetMap / CARTO — map tile providers used in the demo. Your IP is sent to them when the map loads.
- Leaflet / unpkg — the map library is loaded from the unpkg CDN.
6. Cookies on this site
We do not set our own tracking cookies. Third-party services listed above may set their own cookies. Your browser's localStorage is used to remember your language preference and (in the demo) your profile.
7. Your rights (GDPR / PDPA / similar)
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to:
- Request a copy of the data we hold about you.
- Request correction of inaccurate data.
- Request deletion of your data ("right to be forgotten").
- Withdraw consent at any time (this stops future processing but does not affect past).
- Lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.
To exercise any of these, email hello@tripibe.app from the address you signed up with. We respond within 30 days.
8. Data retention
Waitlist emails are kept until the product launches in your city and you either join the live service or opt out. If you ask us to delete your record, we do so within 30 days, except where retention is required by law.
9. International transfers
Our third-party processors (Airtable, Vercel, Google) operate servers in the United States and other countries. By using the Service you consent to your data being transferred to and processed in those jurisdictions.
10. Children
The Service is not directed at anyone under 18. We do not knowingly collect data from minors. If you believe we have collected data from a minor, please email us and we will delete it.
11. Security
We use HTTPS for all traffic and store waitlist data in Airtable with access limited to Tripibe operators. No system is perfectly secure; we cannot guarantee absolute security but we will notify affected users of any material breach without undue delay.
12. Changes
We will update the "Last updated" date at the top when this policy changes. Material changes will be announced on the homepage.
